I ordered this watch (Chase Durer Pilot Commander Alarm Chronograph), and I must say, so far I'm very pleased by the overall presentation, appearance, size, weight, feel, and quality. Amazon did deliver on time as promised.

Please see the pictures and captions below pictures that I've posted for details and thoughts on this watch. I also ordered the Seiko SNA411P1 stainless steel pilot alarm quartz chronograph from this site (amazon.com) and I will be doing a side-by-side comparison shortly.

Overall, I have watches ranging from $4000(rolex) to $19.99 (casio), and I must say,...this Chase Durer is poised to be one of my favorites. Beautiful watch for any price. And unlike EACH of my high-end automatics, I do NOT have to spend $399 every 2-3 years on "lubrication" and "maintenance." Very pleased with product, price, accuracy, and style of product.

Anyone who knows about the weapons school or whose family member might have attended will probably be surprised. Not a good choice if you know the program or are buying a gift for USAF flyer of a plane other than the B52. Chase and vendors should better represent the product to avoid returns. The Pilot Commander watch is unique. As the description states it has a alarm quartz movement, chronograph, 60 seconds & 30 minutes elapsed time function, and a Screw-locked crown among other features. It has a unique 5 year limited international warranty to boot. The most striking feature of this watch is its weight. If you want a light weight watch, do not buy this one. In addition, this one is accurate to within one minute per year. You won't go wrong with this one.

Pros: Nice looking, rugged, heavy, functional, smaller face, custom fit, and affordable
Cons: Had to snip rubber band to make it fit. Alarm is not very loud.

This is my first Chase Durer watch. I have a smaller wrist so finding a sporty watch was hard to find. This one is about 38mm in diameter so it works well for me. I don't use the chronograph features much but it works. The alarm also works but not very loud. The clasp opens very easily. I hope it last a long time. The Chase Durer brand has certainly earned a reputation in the watch industry. I heard that a lot of celebrities have them since the company is from Beverly Hills. Pat Sajak has rumored to have a few of them.
